I am happiest when I am creating with clay. I find inspiration form the outdoors and other artists, teachers and friends. I love learning new techniques to stretch the possibilities of form. I'm very happy in Sydney, with loving family and friends, but I am originally from Perth and many of my sculptures represent journey, emotion and love. .
In addition to playing with clay, my working life has been split between working as an Art Consultant and as an Occupational Therapist. Since 2010 I have loved creating with clay and developed my skills and understanding of ceramics and sculpture by completing a number of courses at TAFE and then a Master of Art at UNSW (2016). In 2014, five of my ceramic boats were displayed at Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi. More recently (June 2018), I won best in category (3D) in the Northbridge Art Prize.
